Easter Story Books

We asked for prayer on Wednesday for an Easter story that has been put together, aimed at children, for distribution in schools at Easter.

The book was written by Stuart Scammell and imagines the experiences of a young man called Maka at Easter time. There’s a nice little hook into the ‘young man’ recorded in Mark 14:51–52.

Stuart serves The Lord out of Cardiff and had a similar book produced for Christmas that went out across primary schools in Wales. We missed that round, but have had several hundred of the Easter books sent to us for local schools. Any questions, including whether we have any spare copies that you can share, please ask Lloyd.

Like other opportunities that we have had with schools over the years, please pray that this novel way of going ‘out’ with the gospel may know God’s blessing.

For those interested in Stuart’s work with the homeless and other activities, please find below a copy of his most recent prayer letter.
